Fading, cropping files with Clipstream™ Audio 3
Specify the fade and / or crop times for Clipstream Audio 3-encoded files in the Advanced Options.

Requirements:
  • Clipstream Audio 3 Encoder
  • .wav, .aiff, .cda, .mp3 audio files to encode
Access the Advanced Options dialog
    In the Clipstream™ Audio 3 Encoder:

  • Go the Options menu and select Advanced


    -or-

    Click on the Options button


    The Options dialog will pop up.
Cropping audio
To crop the exported audio files (cut the exported clip from the beginning or end portions):
  1. Check the box beside cut from beginning and/or cut from the end


  2. Enter the number of milliseconds (1 second = 1000 milliseconds) you wish to not encode in your export file.
  3. Press OK


  4. The next time you encode, all the files on your Batch List will encode with the specified number of milliseconds cropped from the beginning and/or ending.

    The original source file is not harmed.
Fading audio
To fade the exported audio files (cause the sound level to drop off to none), follow the same steps as with cropping audio except:
  1. Check the box beside fade


  2. Enter the number of milliseconds from the beginning and/or from the end you wish to fade

    When the selected audio source files are re-encoded, they will fade from the specified time.
